Team Copy Cat had a great time at the first OC Book Fair in Old Town Tustin! The SCBWI booth was great, as always, and lots of independent bookstores participated. Thanks to my mom and sister!

Plus it includes a new Language Arts activity. Animals Go Vroom! by Abi Cushman was one of the inspirations for Copy That, Copy Cat!. “Good Copycat or Bad Copycat?” invites students to compare and contrast the two books and practice being good copycats in their own writing.

CYBILS Finalist!!
Wow, COPY THAT, COPY CAT is a finalist for the Cybils Awards!
The CYBILS are judged by book bloggers. They have a really extensive process; this article is really interesting. The finalists were announced January 1st, so that was a pretty awesome way to start the new year! The winner in each category will be announced February 14th.
